Without a shadow of a doubt. Still considering writing to the insurance ombudsman about them.

A major failure with the 4x4 system on the A6, 200m from the slip to Beaune services.
Taken off motorway to a garage in the centre of Beaune, VRD said they would find us another vehicle with tow bar. Ok we've got you one they said, but you need to pay 10euro a day for some insurance, we agreed to that. Phoned back an hour later, nope it's over 120euro a day extra, we declined after much arguing with them.
Six hours later our van was towed to Camping Les Bouleaux and Santa Fe left at garage to be uplifted the next day by the nearest Hyundai dealer.
Then the fun started trying to prise a hire car out of them.
The following five days were spent with us phoning them,
notice I said us phoning them, regarding the repair to the Santa Fe.
In the end we had to spend three weeks in Beaune, the car had to be repatriated and arrived back a week after us.
Then the caravan had to be repatriated, it arrived, damaged, two weeks after we got home.
The only people who kept us informed of the vehicle(s) recovery were the actual recovery agents.

And no, we would not use VRD again.

Thank blueexpo97, I will def avoid that one. Ok, so Qdos and Co-Op seem to be giving the best price, has anyone got any horror stories about either of them please before I decide which to go with
