I'm looking to take the family on a bit of a roadtrip but need a little help with regards to places to stay.
We are looking stay in Paris, Munich, Berlin, Amsterdam and spend a couple of days in each.
What I need to know is has anybody done these cities in a campervan? Can we just park on a side street for the night? Would it be better to camp at an aire station or the like?
Any help hugely appreciated
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Haven't stayed in or near Berlin and Paris, but have stayed near Munich and Amsterdam, both have sites pretty close by on the outskirts where you can then get public transport into the city. From reading previous posts on forums I know the same goes for Paris and Berlin, although I haven't personally stayed there myself.
I'd never park up in a side street in a city anywhere, there is no need to do that anyway. Just google campsites in Paris, etc and I'm sure you'll find what you need. What fun is there in staying on a side street anyway, what is there for the kids to do?
Do you realise the distances involved between those 4 cities? I'm mentioning that because you are talking about a couple of days at each. Or are you staying somewhere en route between them?
