Hello all
Following a great camping experience at Camping Warnsborn nr Arnhem we have decided we would like to visit the Netherlands again but slightly further East.
Looking for sites that are tent friendly, low key, preferably in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug area. I have found some but as none have english versions of their websites I think maybe they're not so welcoming to English.
Any recommendations would be greatly received.
Many thanks

We're currently the only British on a small site near Maastricht. The owners are really helpful (the lady even brought us coffee and biscuits after the van was pitched) and all the Dutch we've come into contact with on site and in the local town are friendly and extremely tolerant of us non-Dutch speakers, so I wouldn't think there'd be a problem. It may just be that there are not many British visitors to the area so the website doesn't have an English version.
If you are concerned, why not email the site and see what response you get?
We spent a few weeks in the Netherlands a couple of months ago, add to that we have stayed on Dutch owned campsites throughout Europe.
You really will go a long way to find people anymore welcoming than the Dutch.
Its rare a UK campsite has their website in any language other than English but am sure foreign visitors are welcome - would guess that's the same for the Dutch.
As bofs says try emailing - pretty sure their response will be in brilliant English :)
