I just 'wind' the adjuster down as far as pos ... and that's it ... never been flashed ... years ago I used various beam adjuster kits .... always left a mess on the headlamp ...
I don't think it's worth the hassle ... and, certainly with most newish cars, seems to be completely unnecessary.
