2 ice creams in the South of France for £3? I dont think so!
We had two in La Franqui just a week or two ago, for 2 euros each - that's £2.88 at today's exchange rate. A lovely big 'boule' of Rhum et Raisin and another of Vanille (his) and Praline and Framboise (mine) in a waffle type cone! We had another in Peyriac sur Mer on Tuesday last week for just 1.50 euros each! And, at the beginning of August Cornettos were just one euro each on special offer in Lagrasse and many other places!!!
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

If you're prepared to travel to Iceland you can often get 4 Cornettos for a £1.
Much cheaper than a Euro each.

True, and a really good tip for families, but without a freezer, and only two of us, that's too many Cornettos to eat in one sitting. Also our ice cream purchases are usually an impulse buy whilst wandering the hot streets of small towns and villages.
Lidl do similar cheap ice creams including their own make 'Bounties' and 'Crunchie' type ice cream lollies.
And for the sake of not going off-thread -- I imagine diesel flavoured ice creams aren't popular (except amongst garage mechanics!)
