Hi folks, I live in Jersey and am looking for a Static/Mobile Home on a site in Brittany or Normandy. Does anyone know of any ... thanks for help in advance. Would also consider a nice large caravan already on a site or in storage on site ... cheers Mimi x

Use chrome browser & you have auto translate facility. Go on French website & it will translate whole page which is easier that copy & pasting blocks of text into a translate website. If you use a translate website then best one nowadays is google translate, I find.

We used to own a static on a site in Brittany- camping du quinquis. A lovely site and beautiful location. We sold it after a year though as we missed touring and decided we didn't like the responsibility of having our own static with repairs etc. It was handy though keeping our stuff there and we spent a fab 4 holidays in it. Part of me misses it though but overall it wasn't for us.

We store our caravan at Camping Le Picard in Tournieres, near Bayeux in Normandy. They had 3 or 4 touring caravans for sale there a couple of weeks ago. You can either store your van and Paul will fetch it out when you want to use it (either onto a pitch or ready to go elsewhere) or have a seasonal pitch, I believe.
