Hello there,
Sorry for delay in getting back regarding the muzzling of dogs in Italy.
I don't know off hand what the regulations are, BUT ..
I've only ONCE ever seen a muzzled dog here. I regularly see people walking Dobermans, Rottweilers, German Sheppards and even Pitbulls in public parks, among playing children, without muzzles, and even sometimes without leashes !!
Italy can be a confusing country, lots and lots of rules & regulations that are there, just to be ignored.
I do see people cleaning up their dogs poo however, so that's a plus.
I guess, best advice would be to bring a muzzle anyway, then view the situation when here.
If I get anymore info. I'll pass it on.
Ciao a tutti and enjoy your hols.
Spudz
