Help, I have just been informed by disgruntled other half that I have "planned" to be travelling back to Ferry when England play Wales !! Does anyone know if Camping Sainte Claire has a TV room or if the TV reception would be any good on our own TV, it would be the only time we would need the Sat dish so don,t really want to carry it all the way to Spain just for one game. Or are their any other suggestions in that area where we might be able to watch.

Providing that French tv will be showing it - and there's no guarantee of that - you may well be able to tune your television to a French TV channel and get the match with a French commentary via your caravan aerial without needing a sat dish.
Hi we were there last year and had no issues setting up sat dish and all UK channels, not sure if anything has changed but would think that far north would not be an issue, if your looking at normal TV then sorry I cannot help.
------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will bring you down to their level then beat you on experience.

We have used the Chateau des Tilleuilles campsite, near Abbeville, just off the A28. They advertise a TV room. The match will probably either be on TF1 or Canal+, (like Sky, a subscription channel). As the owners are very helpful, you could try calling to ask! But most towns have a sports bar where the matches they are showing will be advertised, and he can line one up!!

Thanks. In June, when the Euros are on (I looked it up coz you missed off the month!) chateau des Tilleuilles takes the ACSI card too.
If you really want to use St Claire, he could ask at the campsite for the nearest sports bar where he can watch the match.

No TV room there; not sure if you could get British TV from there, you could possibly travel a bit further and stay nearer to Calais, you'll definitely be able to watch British TV then.
Either do as David sugests and try Filmon in a laptop / tablet, or there will be plenty other brits with their Sat dishes up. You could always ask if they will be watching the match.... and would a bottle of wine gain you admission?
