4 weeks ,sea riverside setting would do.I have only taken caravan to france once so am interested to see more of france i am only driver so need to break up trips was looking at brittany as only 200 miles from cherbourg any ideas as to a good family hol age groups 8-15 with plenty of activities to keep occupied greatly appreciated.
With up to seven hours travelling, you could go much further south than southern Brittany, and probably find more dependable weather. With an overnight stop and another hour or two you could stay on one of the riverside sites in the Dordogne...............! Or, in four weeks, you could do both. Personally I wouldn't want to stay on the same site for four weeks though it does make it easier if you're the only driver.

Hi Bidge, I'm the only driver but rarely stay on a site more than four days, let alone four weeks. Like you we did the Normandy coast as our very first tour with four children on board, but the next year said, hey, let's all go to Italy.
If you really have got six weeks you can go anywhere. Get the guide books out, spread the maps on the floor and start dreaming. Good luck.
