When we were there at we were lucky enough to have a heat wave at the end of June, beginning of July. Locals said it usually pees down at that time.
As for wind. It is actually very sheltered. We had a sea view pitch and no wind. The bay isn't a wind trap.
As for the area. We liked it and the site is very handy for the port and the road to M st M.
