Hi everyone. We're thinking of using this campsite Camping La Paille Haute near Arras in France on our way tugging the van to Italy in August. I would like to register on the website so that I can book online, however when I complete the online registration form I get a message saying that "my phone number is incorrect". Has anyone used this website before and if so, what should I type into the phone number box so that it is accepted, allowing me to book online. Thanks for any help.

I would guess the phone number needs to be French or website spits it out.

Many French websites are the same - they only recognise French numbers, so there's nothing you can do except 'make one up'. Fill in all the other details correctly, but put their own number in the phone box and then send them an email explaining that they website doesn't accept British phone numbers. Now that we have a house in France, but not a French phone, we often come across this problem.

We've used this site a number of times. There always seems to be bags of space available. We have never bothered booking and have always had a good choice of pitches.
