Ask the site. They will know what pitch you are on and therefore the requirements.

Personally, we always carry a raft of different adapters, the two Pin French style adapters come in handy for over night hotel stops in any case.
As for EHU cable length, most EHU's come with 20m, so probably a good idea to chuck a EHU 25m extention cable in the boot, just in case.

Well done, Mucker!
It's worth being precise with phrases like '2-pin adaptor. I would hate to think someone would use the 2nd option together with a domestic 3-pin extension lead when on a campsite!

Very handy to make a very long extension lead using a 3 pin and one end and the socket at the other. I have used a 5m ehu extension lead in the pescara running from the ehu with such a set up. It is a big tent.

Still confused, in all honesty...
I take my EHU from the post into the tent. That ends with 3 x 3 pin UK type sockets. I can then run any UK item, including additional UK domestic extension leads all around my tent, if need be... and those same extension leads can be used at home, of course.

Yeah, I run it from my box in the tent which sits in the porch. Only downside is if I have to use the 5m ehu lead to extend the main one on a long run to the post. The only other extensions I use in the tent are wee 1m trailing gangs.
It also comes in handy in the garden.

Tent campers should really use something like this - with a 'circuit-breaker' built in. Available from good camping shops, (and ebay).
I've seen British people on French campsites use all sorts of home-made combinations - and it's not a good idea!

Yeah, that is what we have on a tripod stand. If you can get one that has the sockets laid out like a gang socket, facing to the side, it is better. Most are laid out so you can only fit two plugs in. The middle socket gets rendered useless by the cord from the plug above covering it.
