We not stayed Les Rives but have stayed at the next campsite along, L'aloua, twice last year as well as Au Cour du Lac in previous years.
We passed Les Rives several times on our bikes when using the bike path but did not go in. It looked a good site and I think it has direct access to the lake.
It's well away from the main road down a narrowish road so you should not suffer from road noise as we did at Au Cour du Lac. It has easy access to the cycle path which you have to cross to access the campsite entrance. Be careful when crossing as the cycle path does get busy. You can cycle or walk from the campsite along the path to Annecy town or to Albertville the other way if you feel like it.
There are bars, cafes, restaurants, along the cycle path, as well as 'beaches' (green spaces with lake access), tennis courts and Sevier port where you catch boat excursions.
A walk from the campsite to the main road will get you to stops for regular buses into Annecy and there are more bars, restaurants etc along that as well in both directions as well as more tennis courts and a bowling alley.
There is a Lidl and a Carrafour Market as well as other shops selling local specialities along the main road in both directions, including a Chinese restaurant and a McDonalds, though we didn't visit either. The Bio Coop du Lac, more or less across the road from the Carrfour Market has an amazing selection of local cheeses etc.
We love Annecy and will most certainly go back soon. :-) Hope you do too.

Thanks for that we will be taking our bikes, you have given us a lot to think about.
