Hi

I was wondering if anyone has a found a good set up caravan storage in France, preferably where they tow it out for you, but that's not imperative.

We really like Vendee, the Loire, Dordogne or Brittany and we'd like to be close to campsites with pools and some entertainment in the evening, even if it's just a bar. The sites must accept pets and children.

I'd really appreciate any advice as I've been googling away for a few days and have not really got anywhere.

The only one I am aware of is in Normandy near Bayeaux, called le Picard.
A few years ago we stored our caravan onsite and Paul the owner would wash the van, and tow it on to the pitch before we arrived to stay, then put it back in storage after we went home.
It is a nice site with good facilities, though not in your chosen locations

Lindsey. If you use Campsite Search on here and click on Caravan Storage it will give you a list of about 80 sites offering storage in the areas you are asking for - but you will have to pick out the bigger ones which might have entertainment. Does that help?

Thank you.   Those are both great starting points. Thank you too Berriow.   I did try that but when the links are followed, quite a few sites do not seem to offer storage at all.

I've heard of quite a few farms offering a storage solution in France so I wonder if anyone has found any reliable ones?

Look in the price list on website of any campsite you are interested in. If it states 'garage mort' means they do caravan storage.
