Hi, we are currently heading back from Spain and have arranged to meet up with some friends somewhere along the Opale Coast, Nord-Pas-De-Calais region. Can anyone recommend a really nice campsite somewhere along this coast which is within walking or taxi ride distance of either a vibrant beachfront or a French town/village with a good mix of cafe/bars, shops and restaurants? We all just want to chill out and relax for the last few days together, before we head back home to the uk and our friends are coming over specifically to join us for a short and very much needed mini break! So, for them in particular, where we stay is quite important!
We also have 2 little dogs we need to get treated by a vet in readiness for re-entering the uk - so if you know of a campsite that is in a resort that fulfills all our preferences, then we'd love to hear about it or them.
Thank you.

My mum and dad used to use a campsite in St Omer called Camping Le Chaumiere they would organise the Vets appointment for you (the owner worked as a receptionist at the vets) but I know the campsite is up for sale, so I am not sure whether this is still the case. They were dog lovers too, so lots of people with dogs used to stop there.
We always used stop at Ferme Des Aulnes on the way back in a little village called Nampont St Martin. The owners are very friendly and helpful so I am sure would be able to point you to the nearest vets as they have lots of English stop over there.
It's very quiet, with covered swimming pool and lovely little bar/ restaurant.
I haven't been there for a few years though due to illness in the family, my son keeps asking to stop there again as he loved it! Quite often had the pool to ourselves when we stayed there!
The municipal at Wimereux here nr Boulogne is probably as good as any for what you want. It's walking distance from the town & seafront with plenty of restaurants. Have a look at the town on google streeview, it's quite nice.
