Hi all, we are thinking of our September holiday, and instead of turning South at Ijmuiden the thought was to turn North and head to Sweden. But, we like our sunshine, can any-one, who's been there, tell what the weather is like in September.
Cheers
Pete

We are planning to be there at the end of August, but just to go across the Oresund Bridge, not further North really. We're expecting more or less the same weather as here at that time of year if not slightly better as out of the Atlantic coastal region. Taking jumpers, not winter coats.
If you find 3 British tent campers frozen to death, that'll be us!
We were in Sweden last year during July and then again late August.
In August it was very warm, we saw temperatures around 25 / 80 degrees for nearly 2 weeks. Locals told us that it was unusually warm but they do tend to have good summers with plenty of sunshine.
We were there in 98 at the end of August and it was warm. Campsite on the suburban train line into Stockholm.
Things may have changed in the past 18 years though
