Now someone on here said that the tolls were cheap in Portugal,well not so.Our one trip was on main route along the algarve,did the thing with the credit card and car reg,and the credit card bill came to £23 which I think is a lot considering we only went from spanish border to Lagos and back.What does anyone else think?

Well Kelper we went from Huelva to Lagos and paid only on the Portugal side there and back and we paid on the Halifax Clarity card which has the best rates on euros transactions and that is what it came to £23,Is there anywhere we can check what we have been charged for?

KELPER Ijust found receipt and was able to find the tolls paid,as I said from border to Lagos, and copied it

as you can see comes to over 30 euros,we were towing caravan would that have been reason for extra cost?

You appear to have been charged the Class 2 rate on the last journey, which is 17.75 for the length of the A22. If you were in a car towing a caravan, you were overcharged by 7.70.
