We are travelling on this ferry for the first time in July. We were just wondering what the prices were like in 'The Kitchen' for an evening meal and breakfast.

Don't know about The Kitchen but the menu with prices for The Brasserie on board ship is on the P&O ferries website. But that's not the one you want is it. Sorry.

If you ring P & O i think they have a lower price if you book both before in advance!

Best to go for the Buffet resto if you want a meal and full breakfast. It is fixed price serve yourself, good quality, esp if you are on Pride of Brugge. Pre book to get 10% discount.

We're on Hull>Zee next week. I assume the proposition is the same.

We've pre-booked Kitchen Breakfasts both ways at £9.50pp and same for Brasserie Dinner at £16.50pp.

We very much regard the outward as the start of the holiday and with a nice steak and bottle of vino collapso we'll likely spend more so I assume will just pay the difference. The return we need some consolation. So we'll probably do the same

We should have been going on Saturday but unfortunately had to cancel. However, we usually indulge in a Commodore class cabin and then take our own "picnic" in a cool box for evening meal and brekkie the next morning. Love it - and really going to miss the ferry crossing as well as the rest of the hols. Never mind, there's always next year!

Yeah I am a bit like bofs too - and a tight Yorkshireman, so often take a picnic to have in the cabin, and something for brekkie, or stop off at the petrol station alongside the river just after you drive out of the Europort for a fresh roll and a coffee. Whilst the meals on the boat are great quality and quantity, sometimes the queues are a bit too tiresome for me.

We can never face getting up early for breakfast in the restaurant. So just take our own. The tannoy announcements announcing breakfast is seven are the most annoying things ever!
