I think most of the campsites are on the north side of the town, next to the beach. We stayed at an ACSI one, which was fine for us, review on here.

La Ferme Erromardie is quite good. Bit oddball in geography of site, most touring pitches being next to beach and away from office, but facilities adjacent to touring pitches are fine, again if a bit bizarre, being in prefabs, but totally clean tidy , practical , and showers have plenty of hot water.. Beach adj has bar, and site has bar/alimentation. Cycleable to town, walkable about 40 minutes via steep hill, drive 10 mins easy. Carrefour 5 mins, Lidl 4 mins, L Eclerc 20 mins To book pitches 160 to 168 are good sizes and near toilets 165 ,166,167 perhaps best.. Covered pool is heated. Any questions get back soon, we are there now.😎
Ps Bord du Mer review franbee is across road from Erromardie, no pool, but don't know how prices compare.

Diabolical at moment. Rain, wind etc, and not much prospect of much better this week. We went over mts to day to Etxalar for lunch, glorious over there, we know a Basque resto, worth a pilgrimage for lunch. 😜

We are heading across to Cantabria at the weekend, hope it might be a bit better over there. With wind in the SW it seems better to be behind the mountains. Pamplona was super yesterday. Not bad enough to tempt us up to Normandy though.😂
