has anyone been to this area. In particular 2 resorts, Peniscola or Benicassim.

We have seen sites called Papa del mar, Bonterra Park, Camping Vinaros and camping Eden.

Any views would be appreciated.

What no replies? Where is everyone? We were at the C&CC rally in La Manga earlier this year, and loads of people were coming back via Peniscola or Benicarlo which is the next town along. Camping Eden was recommended by several folk, but we used a site right by the beach by Benicarlo. It was run by an English family who were very helpful and friendly. Small site, access to beach, walk to town, marina and shops, due for a new shower/toilet block this summer. Plenty of English repeat customers there for the long stay.

Camping La Alegria del Mar was the one we stayed at. Google "camping Benicarlo" and it will come up.

Since then, we have also stayed in Benicassim, at Bonterra Park, which was really nice, and had a look at Camping Azahar, also Benicassim, and would stay there low season as you can spread out a bit when it is quiet!

Hi

We stayed at Bonterra park last October for 6 weeks. Excellent site.

Pitches can vary  from standard to Comfort. I would recomment comfort as they are the largest which also come complete with water & waste on the pitch.

During December to end Feb all the best pitches are taken up with rallies, so go early or outside these dates.

We stayed at Camping torre la salle 2 at Orpessa last year. Was alright and next to the beach. Very spanish and you need a good mallet to get the pegs into the hard ground!

Any Scots, Welsh or Irish?
