I won't tread on anyone's toes and give you mine as there are regulars on here who contribute more that give theirs away so they will contact you today. I'm just saying look to check it's not worth joining yourself as even with the first years fee that includes a one off joining payment - 30% may save you more than just using a 10% code! look at the long term too, if you join and are thinking of going to france next year you only have the annual payment to make to them and get 30% off again next year.

Thanks, that's really useful advice, we tend to do just one European trip a year so not sure it's worth us joining but I will have to do the maths and see! We are crossing Plymouth to Santander.

Stan/ Adrian it makes no difference if you just want the code if it's off a France membership or a Spanish, they both do 10% of all routes its only if you join there's more discounts for the 'right' club, happy to give you my French one unless you've already been sorted above (andrewdavies.mobile at virgin.net)

Club voyage membership is often worth it even for a single trip, I think it's about 100� (I pay 35 as an associate member)

Saved me over 160� taking a trailer tent to France in august.... also get I think 15% off onboard meals

We only go once a year but because that trip is in school hols it is worth getting the voucher. Although kind people on here do share them too. My dh loves the free breakfast!

Thanks to everyone for their advice and the kind offers to share codes. I saved £100 on my booking so very grateful. I think if I knew we would definitely go to Spain again next year I would have joined the club voyage but in the end I just used the 10% code. But definitely useful to look into that, thanks. Will raise a glass of rioja to you all in Spain in August!

If you are a Caravan Club member it is worth getting a price for an ITX fare where you combine sites or Camping Cheques and the ferry.

This year the ITX saved us over £200 on the full BF price.
You can get the deal with just three cheques which are valid for two years and I believe are always in demand if you cant use them.
