We have one - and there's only two of us. We have a three-way portable fridge, like this one: Dometic three-way fridge but we bought ours second-hand more than ten years ago and it's still going strong. We keep food for a picnic in it, in the car whilst travelling, and on site we put it outside under a table with a plastic cover, raised from the ground, to keep it out of the sun if we don't put an awning or sun-shade up. We use it for drinks and other bits if we do a big shop.
We have a domestic table top fridge which we have used for at least15 years now, in fact we bought another last year as we saw one on offer in Argos - so we thought we get one just in case the old one gave up the ghost. Similar to this. Ours was £40 in a sale.
Gets much colder than the caravan type absorption fridges.
Our (old) dometic has a metal 'freezer' strip, about two inches wide inside the top, with an ice cube tray, and even in the heat of France, provided it's kept in the shade, will make ice cubes. Here it is sitting under the table in the Ceze a few years ago:

We got one fron the range 50quid In sale few yrs ago with quite a good size frezzer compartment .keep in awning.really do need two all that wine and beer lol
