Gets you from southern Germany, to the West of Innsbruck, without "going all the way round" to the west, or East.
Hi Mick, if you take the A8 through Germany and then take the A7 at Ulm, this leads straight on to the Fern Pass it`s a fairly easy climb; we used this route last year to go to Garda,it is about 160kms shorter than going via Munich.
