Hi any suggested sites for a Motorhome in Belgium en route to Germany, preferably 3 hours or so from Calais on the A10.

Where is your destination in Germany? 3hrs should see you past Brussels, so you could take A3 towards Liège, or A4 towards Luxembourg. We stayed at Neufchateau, on the latter route - review here

That's a lovely campsite site, right on a cycle track. Lovely people who own it they speak very good English . It's worth going to the next village I can't remember it's name at the moment but you go to the right when you reach the main road( that's by car).
Also it's nice if you can have a pitch by the river to watch the cruise ships pass about 6 to 7 on an evening.

Thanks for that, yes looks a lovely site, but would mean a different route than I had planned and its just possibly too far from Calais for our first stop, but worth considering

We over-nighted at Camping Parc la Clusure ( ACSI no. 498) in May, it`s a very nice Dutch owned site between 3 and 3.5 hours from Calais. Although we were there only one night we would happily return, and for longer next time. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and there are all the facilities you could possibly ask for.
Don`t be put off by the size of the site, although it is quite big it hasn`t got the `big site` feel to it as the pitches are all a good size and the facilities are an easy stroll from the pitches.

We stopped on an excellent site on the Brussels Ring Road.

Thanks, looks like a nice site but at 30 euros is perhaps too dear just for a stopover for one night enroute, I fear.

Thankyou, yes this is now on the shortlist for a stopover at just under 3 hours from Calais it will be a good place to rest up for the night before moving on to Germany. couldn't see anywhere to pre book though.
