First post ahead of our first foreign adventure with a folding camper!! On the way back we're looking to book a hotel for a night before the ferry the next morning. Does anyone have any recommendations for a hotel with good parking for a trailer close to St Malo?
Thanks very much.
Rich
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Most of the 'chain' hotels, such as Premiere Classe, B&B, etc., have secure parking in a gated compound. These are often situated in areas with other chains, and there are generally restaurants nearby offering a discount to those staying in the hotels.
However, you may find staying in a family run place somewhere just outside St Malo offers secure parking and a more pleasant experience. There are lots of Chambres d'hote to be found on booking.com, and if you tick 'parking' in the advanced search you'll narrow it down. See if any have the sort of rooms you're wanting, and then give them a quick ring or email about the parking and security.
