BF don't seem to mind if someone asks for a code and a member replies and offers one. It's when you go advertising on a forum they don't like it. Well that's what happened to me, at any rate.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Just some info, does the discount apply to car, passengers and caravan? we are contemplating joining for next year as the M25 journey home this year was horrendous.

Best thing I ever did was to join Club Voyage. Goodbye M1, M25 and Dover. If only Brittany Ferries could do Hull to St Malo on overnight crossings - would be worth the few quid extra to save on driving on this overcrowded island.
There are two Club Voyage, one for France and one for Spain.
They both have an initial joining fee and then an annual subscription. For France it's £70 joining fee and £70 annual subscription and for Spain (where the savings are potentially much bigger) it's £100 joining fee and £120 annual subscription. Both give 30% discount on fares to France and Spain respectively (but as said not cabins etc) plus 10% off fares to Spain if you belong to the France Club and Spain if you belong to the France one.
There are other perks like free or half price day cabins when booked in advanced, a breakfast allowance when booking a cabin on overnight sailings, a 10% reduction on meals and wine in the main restaurants (but the breakfast allowance and 10% off food does not apply on Economie fares).
You can also give your code to friends and family so that they can get a discount of up to 10% discount on fares. You, the member, get a £10 credit on your account for each time your code is used by friends and family (up to a max of 15 times = £150) and this can be used against your own future bookings, so in effect you can more than save the cost of membership by offering your code on here or elsewhere, though BF do frown on people publishing their code online.
Thanks C&S, That's very helpful. Looking at it I would think at £140 (joining and annual fee) it wouldn't be worth it for me for just the one crossing. It may be worth me considering though if I have more that the one crossing next year.

Obviously it depends on how and when you use the scheme as to whether it works for you but we have found it useful.
We joined last year and went to France twice and so saved well over the joint joining/annual fee.
The joining fee is a one off so after the first year you only pay the annual fee so this year we were in pocket even though we have only been the once as we use the long crossings (plus the free breakfasts, discounts on meals and free/discounted daytime cabins all add up).
Next year we may go to Spain so we'll only be entitled to 10% off the fare as we are members of the French section, but even so will keep up our membership as we'll still be in pocket thanks to a couple of friends and family using our code which means we have about £50 credit to start off with.
In the meantime if I can help you at all with our discount code please do contact me on sandraevans at fastmail.fm and I'll send it to you.
