As above, looking for people who have visited before with any tips etc, is it worth going?!

Camping Lac d'Orient is my preferred choice, seems a lot to offer for the money.

An area I've driven past many times but not turned off!

Thanks

There is loads of activity available on the main lake, as well as good flat cycling around all the lakes.

In the camp there are both indoor and outdoor polls.

The downside is that the ground is a bit claggy and churns up in wet weather, especially those sites in the lower part, around the sanitaires.

Troyes is not too far down the road and there is a nature reserve nearby.

Have been to this campsite twice and absolutely loved it. The lake is also lovely weather you just want to walk around it or take part in any of the activities. Nice outdoor swimming pool although the indoor one is quite small if thats a problem to anyone. We were in rented accommodation which was also very nice.
Certainly would recommend this campsite especially if you do not want to drive too far.

I'd also recommend this site, very well kept and an ideal stop off route from Eastern ports to SE France.
