Just realised that we will not be able to use our usual charcoal bbq this year as site does not allow them. We have always been able to use them (including in Dordogne)
Now frantically trying to decide what to get. Not sure about short ones as you either put them on a table?don't seem that stable or bend over/ sit next to them?? Do we go for a Cadac Carri Chef 2 Combo or something else...any thoughts comments would be useful as I need to sort it out this weekend

I have a cadac with the griddle plate and it is fantastic the food taste great and the cadac is so easy to clean, you wont go back to charcoal.
Ditto, great piece of kit that is so versatile
------------- 2018 & so it begins.
April - please, just one weekend!
May - Who knows....
June - Tristram, Polzeath 10 nights
August - Dartmouth Regatta 4 nights
We've taken a Cadac Carri Chef to France for the last 8 or 9yrs, but this year we picked up a George Foreman grill a few weeks before going over & took this with us.
We didn't miss our Cadac at all apart from making a risotto in our paella pan. It saved us carrying all the Cadac stuff & an extra Campingaz cylinder.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
