Hi has anyone here upgraded the fridge or oven in the sterling windward 540 (2006)my oven is not performing efficiently this is i feel due to its age ,the fridge is quite pathetic space wise, was wondering if anyone has successfully made modifications to this model ,would be interested in your experiences.

Not in a sterling but we changed the cooker, hob, fridge and shower in our Lunar. We replaced the cooker with a Smev hob and oven with electric ignition. these fitted into the same space as old oven ect. We put in a larger fridge by using the dead space under the old fridge. It was very easy to do, also changed the sink and drainer.

In fact we have started on the van we have now as the oven is useless and I want a smev one. We found prices a lot less from a boat chandlery for the same items.
