Does anyone have any experience pitch camping at legoland in Billund, Denmark? I booked cheap flights for the trip his weekend and would love the chance to camp out there. It's going to be a stretch to bring gear for 2 people on ryanair but I think I can do it. I am little worried about leaving my pitch set up while I'm in the park and ifI will have any other problems. Rooms are crazy money and tents look like a great option.

There are loads of hotels showing at under £100 per night nearby for this weekend.

Just a quick update. I took the chance with a tent and Ryanair and it worked out fine. I was scared to death about them taking my tent poles but it was a non issue. It went through without a pause.
The legoland holiday park where I am camping at is about a 30 minute walk from the airport. Its just beyond the legoland entrance which is about a 20 minute walk if you walk it on the grass. Walking on the road would probably add time as its a windy road.
Everything was fine at check-in and I could pick just about any spot in the park. They offer free showers, electrical hook up and even kitchens to cook your food. Just bring a tent and your good to go.
I walked down to the center of town, about a 20 minute walk, and grabbed groceries there. The park food is eye popping expensive but the quick walk to town brings prices more in line with normality. They have at least 3 markets to shop at so you can find what you need.
