Yes, except my bowl was red and it was the vegetable stall in the bottom of the market, in the corner next to the car park entrance! Lovely quality stuff - we've just eaten some of the peppers with our salad.
When you're next 'wandering around Vallon, try the Tom Pouce cafe in the square, for a coffee. We go there every time, even one January when we took David's 90 year old mum for her birthday treat. Also try the Pierre Chauvet 'glacier' on the little narrow 'main street' down from the top of the square - especially if you like Citron Vert and Gingembre!
We did try lots of Saucisson - we're trying to find a 'Provencale' one like we bought last year at another market, but didn't taste anything like it. It was addictive. No, we didn't try the nougat - I'm afraid if I try it I will end up spending my life savings on a kilo!
Have you been to the market in Uzes on a Saturday - another lovely one?
Thanks Val, we'll take your advice on where to stop for coffee and ices, when we next take a stroll.
I suspect I'll be about a stone heavier, by the time we get home. Saucisson sec, olives, bread and good olive oil for lunch. Now off for a swim. I could get used to this!
