Hi AineMarie,
Your post is timely, as only today I received my offer from La Garangeoire for 2017, based on the provisional booking form which we completed before leaving this year.
Have you downloaded the map of the campsite from their website?
Firstly, the pitches closest to the playground are mostly taken up with Europcamp, Canvas, etc cabins/chalets. I'm pretty sure there are no touring pitches in that area.
I have a coloured coded map of all the touring pitches, indicating the pitch type, e.g. electricity only, electricity, water & drainage, premium pitches, etc. If you want to give me your email address I could scan it and send it to you.
Almost all pitches/areas are good, however, I heard this year that some pitches on the row 'Hirondelles' down towards 'Faisans' had some rodent issues. We didn't witness any signs of rodents, but that area would probably be my least favourite anyway.
Last year we were on 'Garrots' and this year we were on 'Harles'. Both were great - hard to find a bad pitch in that area. Most have some shade, are a very generous size and close enough to the sanitary block.
I have always communicated with La G via email and find them very responsive.
Let me know if you'd like any further info.

Hi Áine,
I've just sent that via email.
No problem to email La G in English - all the staff have fluent English.
Best of luck.
