As has been said already, dependent on the size of your MH you might want to adjust the route a bit - the region is quite mountainous. However, I saw huge vans parked at the top of the Grossglockner mountain road, 2.5km in the sky up a mountain pass, so seems it doesn't put off Austrians, who love their motorhoming!
Nearby to the start of the Romantikstrasse, just over the border in Germany, is Berchtesgadener Land. There you'll find the town of Koenigssee, which I wouldn't miss out on if you have time. An unbelievably beautiful location with a picturesque town, and overlooked by Eagle's Nest which you can visit. Besides its ominious history, it's also one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen.
If you're interested in history (as you'll guess I am so that's a lot of my recommendations!), Bad Aussee has a fascinating one. The region is called Salzkammergut, after the salt chambers around there. It's also known as the Austrian lake district. The area was beloved by the Habsburg monarchy, and there's quite the number of sites and reminders around of Franz Joseph and his wife, Sisi. Salzkammergut was the summer retreat for Vienna's rich, and by the early 20th century Bad Aussee was the number one spot for Vienna's middle class Jewish population. It became a prime target of the Nazis to "rearyanise". You can read more about that here: http://www.politische-landschaft.at/en/workshop/anschluss-verfolgung-und-arisierung-im-ausseerland/
The town of Bad Ischl is particularly lovely, and like Bad Aussee was a summer retreat for Vienna's elite. It was called "Vienna by the lakes" in the summer. The Kaiservilla is worth a visit if you're interested in the Habsburgs at all, and also see the desk where Franz Joseph signed the declaration of war against Serbia that started World War I, and preserved there in glass, the declaration itself.
If you do go to Bad Ischl, also visit Cafe Sissy for Zauner cake.
Vienna and Salzburg go without saying, both wonderful cities.
Your trip sounds delightful, I'm really quite jealous. I don't know when you're planning to go, but the shoulder months, particularly the end of May, is often a great time to take the benefit of good weather and fewer visitors.
