We used it with our trailer tent many years ago-I remember the pitches are very small and cars had to be parked somewhere else. Each pitch had a sink with hot/cold water and a cupboard with gas!. I remember the toilets/shower block all marble seemed very exotic to us. Long walk into Santander but cheap to take taxi out-really easy access to ferry from there. Long time ago and from trip advisor looks as if they've added log cabins of some sort.

Thanks folks, I've asked the question before, which campsite do you all use for an overnight after getting off the Santander ferry, but there doesn't appear to be one close popular site? Or is there...? We arrive about 17.30 in the evening.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Caravans as well as motorhomes can park overnight free of charge in the big parking lot at the Cabarceno Safari Park - it's about 15 miles from the port and Google will give you details plus pictures
Your review of the Condom site (we have visited the town before ... seeking the D'Artagnan museum) ... has put it firmly on our list of sites for this year. Thank you.
Thanks Kelper, I've looked at this site and it does look good, but, my concern is if the ferry is delayed with an hour to travel from the docks we could arrive late only to find it closed? This is our first time crossing to Santander so we're really looking for a close site for our first night.
