We got a Toll Tag last year for our camping holiday to France in our tent, it was great. It's still on our car windscreen and seems pretty stuck there. We're hiring a motorhome at the end of June (special treat for my 50th) to tour Europe but mostly France and my questions are a) Is there anyway to remove Tag and transfer to another vehicle temporarily b) is there a Europe wide tag c) can we request an additional tag? Thanks :-)

You should be able to remove the tag from its holder on your windscreen and then ask ATMB to send you an additional holder. An additional tag means creating an additional contract with all the costs that entails as I understand it.

FWIW we don't use the holder at all and just hold the tag up each time we pass through the toll. On our third tag now after about 10 years and never failed yet

Not a good idea to leave the Tag in place all the time, not an issue in the UK of course, but they quite often get stolen from cars in France.

Which is one of the reasons they are removable from the mount.

Not sure about ATMB, but our Bip & Go Tag was replaced for the newer le petite Tag back in 2015, which uses a different type of mount to the older larger Tag's.

If ordering from ATMB it could be worth sending them an image of your Tag, although from your records I would imagine that they know which style Tag you currently have.

I was lucky enough to happen upon one of the APRR offices at one of the autoroute service area's were they were quite happy to hand me a couple of Tag mounts for free.

Anything I guess to get shut of a mad English man!

Thank you for your replies -I will have a look at the TAG tonight (it's in my partners car). If it's in a holder then happy days. :-)

I have just got a new Company car, and as such had to move my tag from one vehicle to another.

I got some Zots from Amazon, which does the Job.

Therm-o-Web 1/2-inch Large Zots Craft, Pack of 250, Clear

They have done the Job well, and there is plenty of them in a pack to move your tag many times :-)

Best Regards
Nathan

I have a spare ATMB tag ... just in case the main one fails ... easy to order on line.
