Looking at the informative google map for vets, we notice Belgium isn't as populated as the approach to cthe Dover ports. Thinking of stopping at parc la clusure in southern belgium on way back, has anyone used or got a recommendation for a vet. The othe other option is to come back via France from Munich, but want to be around 2-3 hrs out from Calais. Any recommendations or advice would be grateful, first timers with pooch abroad.

You have a 5 day window to be get this done. Just ask at a campsite - wherever you are - in that time frame. The campsite reception will know of local vets.

I'd agree with Berriow, and those recommended by campsites are likely to be Vets used to dealing with people in other languages.

Count back 5 days from your return date but I think it goes by hours (the web site says 120 hours rather than 5 days) so, if you're crossing at, say, 3 p.m. you need to go the the vet after 3 p.m.
Coming home last week we stayed at Bien Assise, which is a Castels site, lovely site and in the ACSI book so quite reasonable. I think it was about an hour from the tunnel.

Thanks all, we were thinking of camping in the Ardenne on the way back, parc la clusure or other close by and any advice of vets in Belgium would be helpful.

Sorry, I know nothing of that campsite, but coming home from Munich I would stop in Luxembourg and then straight through to the ferry in one day from there.
If you need a doctor or a dentist while you are away you ask at the campsite where you are staying. My goodness, we have done that so many times. Finding a vet is just the same.

Parc la Clusure is a really good campsite, and one that we intend to use again in the future. I haven`t used the local vet but there is one named Vanderbiest in Grupont nearby.
I should add that you are unlikely to get back to Calais within 2/3 hours from there.
