Very excited to have received our tag today but I am struggling to translate the leaflet!
I think that I understand that you drive up and take a few seconds but not a ticket but I am a bit confused about whether we have to use a particular lane as we will have a roof box on our car (bow touring)
Must we only use the lane with the t and the downward pointing green arrow?
Also - do I need to go online to activate the account?
Any advice much appreciated. Thank you :)

Can't wait - it was always me fumbling with the change and cricking my neck leaning out of the window.
We keep the caravan in France now so it will make our journey so much easier :)

We have the tag in our vehicle and found that on some tolls, the barrier opens in good time, on others you have to almost touch the barrier with the nose of the car before it opens.
In one instance I thought that there was an issue with either the barrier or the sensor and reverse with a twin axle caravan out of the lane into the next one where we had the same issue.
Eventually a helper came across and after conversing with a call centre instructed us to move the vehicle as close as possible to the barrier. Lesson learnt and kept in mind for the rest of our trip.
We have also got the ATMB pass on the back of one of Keith's excellent videos.
It will save my marriage - I drive and hubby could never reach/work out the ticket machines and it always ended in an argument.
First trip out using it in September so fingers crossed - just want to get that first use out the way.

You don't manage your account - they do. They send an email to tell you what you owe, and they send the bill to your credit card provider.
I have an online account where I can see my invoices and see current 'journeys in progress'. I will just create a link on my home page of my phone to my account.

It will take "a few days" before your journey shows up on your on-line account. Don't expect live updates en route.

We have just returned from France using an ATMB tag, we got our first invoice notification at the end of the first week, payment due 28th July, so they give you enough warning.
