Anyone stayed at either of the two municipals they aren't showing in search for me , no bookings July and August you just turn up at 2pm. Wondering if anyone stayed there as I might turn up next week.

First rule of thumb is that any site by a lake will be busy in school summer hols.. Take a phone and call ahead a day in advance. And have a plan B in mind.

Thanks I've spoken to them they just say come at 2pm it's just queue and see if you get a pitch , just wanted to know any reviews on site

Got on the municipal Monday , was there for 1:30 for reception at 2pm we had already walked round a choose a pitch number , only one other couple queuing so we were on our pitch immediately. It's probably one of the most beautiful places I've seen the lake is the bluest of blues and stunning spent the afternoon swimming in it. A 10 min cycle down a lane and we found a cove to ourselves will picnic there today . After 4pm the crowds came looking for pitches so it was worth being there for opening ! 19 euros a night and it looks like we are the only English here which I like.

Thanks for that, I scoured the lake for campsites and decided that would be the one I would choose which is very gratifying! Might go in September, really, really hoping to.

I'm sure you'll love it , wifi free at reception , small supermarket up the steep hill past the aire, small market by the picnic area I think Tuesday mornings , up the hill in the village are two bars a posh looking one with umbrellas but a normal one with the best views ever ! Two restaurants a posh one and next door a better price one that does pizza steaks mussels etc ( husband had a fab steak with homemade potato gratin) sit on the terrace to get a fab view 12 euro for a main that was very good value . By the lake some food sellers first van does lovely homemade quiche for 3 euros a big slice , second place more like a static building with a hippy type couple also sell baguette and croissants to save going up hill to supermarket in morning.
