Anyone advice me of cheapish fuel not too far from the A16. Slightly cheaper to fill up in France I suppose. On our way down to Anduze with a stopover in Bourges. Looking forward to some sunshine !!!

Or the big Auchan hypermarket just off the autoroute at the Boulogne junction - number 31 - and turn towards St Omer. The store is closed on Sunday mornings but the filling station has automated pumps accepting UK Credit and Debit cards 24/7.

In Calais, Carrefoure 24hr with card just off J3. Total station at J3 (I filled there last Thursday at 1.16 litre. On A16, Aire de Deux Cap, 15 miles from ferry. Still cheaper than here.
Last June we used the Auchan in Calais. Only a short detour from the motorway. Take the Guinnes exit but turn right. Then second left. Plenty wide enough for access with large vans, and quiet at around midday when we were there. Alternatively we have used the Carrefour at Marquise, just of J36. Take Stuart's advice, check out Prix des carburants along with Google Streets. Happy refuelling!

We always use the Auchan at Coquelles. I think this is the one that Eddie is referring to. It is 24 hour, so always available. The Auchan is a huge one too, so ideal for those last minute bits and pieces, to save weight carting them through France.

Yep, that's our stop of choice too.
Another one who uses this one - the hypermarket is also a great place to stock up with wine on the journey home - carries a large selection of medal winning wines.
