Good point berriow. Any recommendations for that area?
Opensauce I'm now thinking more like 10 days due to travel time and cost, brittany area
Your heading asked for France Kept Simple... so a small site, south Brittany, no entertainment or kids clubs, but new, heated, covered pool, bouncy castle and trampoline for little ones, British managers who can arrange discount on Brittany Ferries, 500 metres walk to the beach., 71 satisfied reviews on here. = Camping Pors Peron.

Big endorsement from me to Berriow's brilliant suggestion Camping Pors Peron. Great site, lovely area. 👍😀
On recommendations from here we've just come back from Pors Peron, it was excellent. Wifi not the best but that didn't really bother us. Perfect for younger kids, there were enough kids on site to make friends with, but not enough to drive those without kids round the bend-:)
We did a week there, then 8 nights in Normandy, which is also very lovely and the weather was great. Better in Normandy, all sunshine, as opposed to some rain/overcast days in Brittany.
Pors Peron is only a two hour drive from Roscoff. Another place worth mentioning is Flower Camping Ile de Conleau just outside Vannes in Southern Brittany. Right on the Golfe du Morbihan, small beach about a 10 minute walk away, pool and play area on site. And probably better weather as it's further south. It would take around 4 hours from Roscoff I should think.
