So we're just back from Millau amongst other places and loved the above site (admittedly it wasn't full whilst we were there).
Why did we love it so much...??
The sun, the bike path to what we thought was a lovely town (- great if like us you are in a motor-home), the safe river, the nice pool, the clean loos, the separation of the bar & entertainment from the main site so you can take or leave it...and a few but not masses of other English kids to play with
Since the 2018 planning has commenced any suggestions of where else we might like?
Spent the drive up from Clermont F looking at sites but uninspired.
I do like the look of Castel Rose in Anduze which is now Yelloh and has the bonus of new waterslides, but suspect there won't be other English families there...

We liked it there too, you might like somewhere near Castellane (Gorge du Verdon?) Did you see the beavers in the river? I ma no expert on France though, there are others who have been all over can better advise you.
We are at castel rose at the moment. We don't have kids with us but there are still plenty here, which we find unusual for this late in August. Not many other brits here, but that suits us to be honest. Nice site though right next to the river which is very shallow, still nice to cool off though.

Hi We went to Castel Rose at the end of July for two weeks. We loved it. OK very few british, but that does not bother us, though plenty of kids. The pool is great as is the river. The site is in walking distance of the village which is lovely. We had a large pitch which could have taken our monster tent three times over, so plenty of space for out door living. We also hired a fridge which was a great help. Would reccomend it
Will have a look at that bridgeywidge, had a drive out yesterday and passed beau rivages, looked at the website a couple of times, didn't like it much, facilities looked quite worn, not what it seems on the Web. Been lots of activity here today, seems to have filled up again, lots of Dutch, not that it's a problem, have decided we really like this place!! Sad to leave tomorrow for the long slog to boulogne
Camping Cevennes does look nice too but no pool.
Think we'll book a few nights then stay on if we like it and kids happy - if we wait until later in August should be fine to do that.
Long way off though as the nights draw in 👎🏻

We popped in to camping cevennes this morning on our way home. Site was vast and on a very steep hill, with the reception and playground etc at the bottom. Looked pretty shady as well. Nice looking site but not for us I don't think, pretty isolated.
