Both fantastic areas, Brittany is our favourite, when the weather is good it is the best place in France, and depending where you live, the closest.
A lot depends on what you want from a site, bars, pools and water parks, evening entertainment. We have used Camping Pors Peron, it has a pool and a stunning beach just down the lane, it is a quite site in a stunning area.
Good luck, you will love it.

We have found over the years our grandchildren have expanded the criteria, when they were very young it was merely a good playground, a paddling pool and near the beach. Now at the ages of what will be 12 and 10 next year the criteria has changed, pool with water slides, adventure type playground, near beach, wifi available, entertainment and a restaurant, plenty of peer company, some entertainment. My preference is a flat pitch with a bar that opens in the afternoon. We like La Domaine de la Catiniere near Honfleur but tend to use it as an overnight spot these days. This year am trying Le Comorcan near St Mere Eglise for the first time as it seems to tick all our boxes. I've stayed at Portland, Chateau Drancourt, Pors peron, they too are all good family sites. When you read the site reports be prepared to take some reports with a pinch of salt some people don't like unisex showers, toilets, no toilet paper, no toilet seats and having to wear "budgie smugglers" as negative points. To me they are all part of the French experience.
