Can anyone recommend a site close to the beach in Peniscola please. Hope to get there within next few days, thinking of staying a few weeks then down to Benicassim before heading further South.

We had a look round Camp Eden this year while on a day at Peniscola.Looked fine and very close to Beach and not too far from Town centre.Think it gets pretty busy though.

We stayed for a couple of nights at Camping Vizmar some 3 or so years ago. My review is on here. It is a very small site, but walking distance from a small supermarket and the beach. It was an ACSI site at the time and very cheap. I am not sure what its opening period is though. There were a few long stay Brits on the site at the time, so it must suit some! We quite liked it, but we like quiet unassuming sites.

Now at Eden Camping, Peniscola. Really nice site, shower blocks immaculate, large pitches, couple minutes walk to see front. Lovely restaurant. Can wholly recommend.
