We are thinking of going to Turkey next year in the motorhome. Would be interested to hear of reasonable camp sites, must see places etc.
------------- Be kind, be happy.

Don't know if you've looked at the previous posts. Some might be of use.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

SalmonG did you 'do' the mudbaths at Dalyan, and the long long turtle beach? We stayed there (not camping) on one holiday, and found all the Roman tombs, too - a fascinating place and much overlooked by most tourists years ago when we were there.
We've also stayed in Turunc, which we liked too. We did some diving amongst the islands off the coast, and a fabulous inland trip to an inlet from the sea where you could walk out for about a mile without going further in than your knees! Both Dalyan and Turunc were smallish places when we were there, but I expect they've grown now.
Even more years ago we stayed at Alanya (which at that time had just one dirt road - but is now a huge resort, and Olu Deniz before it fronted all the Turkish travel brochures. I don't think I'd recommend either of them now, but we did like Kas and Kalkan which have remained reasonably small. We liked the Saklikent Gorge too - and there are some very interesting places inland Turkey.
Kusadasi is another large resort further north up the Aegean coast, lovely beaches again, and convenient for trips to Ephesus, Pamukkale and others.

Ours too - though we haven't been for a year or two - but may be back next year for OH's milestone birthday.
