Lucky enought to be spending two months travelling around France next Summer. Planning to be in the Brittany area for Bastille Day and wondered if anyone could recommend any specific towns where there will be a good party/fireworks

We were once on a site in another part of France on Bastille Day where the owner was so cross when she found the mayor hadn't organised anything for the village that she announced a free drinks party for the whole site.... in front of the toilet block at 6pm. ...
... And so we were introduced to the dangerously drinkable mix of white wine and grapefruit juice in tumblers. My French became very fluent as the evening wore on, though I found out the next day that the man I was talking to was English.
Anywhere is France has Bastille Day celebrations. We were once over-nighting on our way home in a tiny little municipal in a weeny village somewhere in the middle of France. There was a huge firework display, parade with children carrying paper lanterns and lots of noise and drink! The whole thing was very amateur and very charming.

At the campsite the staff removed some item from each camper's pitch and hid them elsewhere - on someone else's pitch or in the communal areas. A cryptic clue, in French, as to the whereabouts of the object was left for you to read.
It cause a terrific mingling of the campers as the translations were attempted.
In the evening the young guardienne set up her microphone on the banks of the river and performed Edith Piaff type songs for about 2 hours.Wine was handed round, flambeaux were lit and fireworks set off. Magical night.
