We have been thinking about leaving our van in storage near Bezier in France, can anybody please advise the average costs and also ideal places that will tow to site if we fly out. many thanks

There are plenty of storage sites around Beziers/Agde/Narbonne - and from experience (we looked) you can pay anywhere between 250 and 600 euros. The standard offered at 600 euros are not always better than the cheap and cheerful old farmer who will keep your van in his lovely dry barn! Charges for towing to site vary from (old farmer) 10 euros in each direction to 60 euros each way.
We store our caravan on a site in the Ardeche and that costs us just 185 euros a year - and for that they will bring it out and put it on their site next door as many times as we want! We've even left it on a pitch for more than a week free of charge between visits. We can also tow it away and tour elsewhere if we wish.

Three to be going on with, but there are loads more. Google 'Gardiennage Beziers' or Gardiennage Agde. It depends, really, where you want to site your caravan. Take into account any language problems - the old farmer mentioned above was a lovely man, but his Occitan accent was very difficult to follow!
There are loads and loads more! Use Mappy.com and Gardiennage and then select the name of the town or village. Here are the results from a mappy search of Agde
Your main problem will be in actually finding space and it may take a lot of visits to various places before you're happy. Don't assume you can drive your caravan down, find somwhere whilst you're on holiday, and then leave it at the end of the holiday.
We spent nearly two weeks of driving backwards and forwards, weighing up costs and options, and then chose to store in an entirely different area! Check out insurance costs too, and make sure you're happy with the terms and conditions of the storage - we have to remove our gas bottle, for example, and store it elsewhere - which can be a problem if the site doesn't have secure storage and are expecting you to take it away with you!

Hi,
We arranged storage for our folding camper at domaine de st Pierre at Vias last September. It has cost us €150 for outside storage for the year (& they gave us a large bottle of their very nice wine as well!). They have a waiting list for inside storage, not sure how much that is. They will tow to various campsites in the area

Hi,
We felt is was good value & the family that run it are very pleasant. It's a vineyard & we've been on their wine tour/tasting several times over the years; both the expensive wine & the cheap stuff they sell at the shop on the main road to Vias Plage are very drinkable so it was an easy decision to store there!
