Hi all, I’m planning on taking the caravan to Holland in May and wanted to visit the above theme park. They’re are a few posts on here but not many and mostly old ones so I was wondering if anybody had been recently. If so where did you stay, we’re looking at Beekse Bergen (sorry if misspelt). Would this be a good base? Any other info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Beekse Bergen is a fabulous site. All set around water, beach, chippy, indoor pool, safari park.
Its big, lots going on, family orientated and we found the locals friendly. Tilburg is a lovely town, loads of bars, shops, restaurants etc. Efteling is good for the smaller children. The best in that region is bobbejaanland.be the best theme park you will not have heard of.

Thanks for your reply, the site does looks amazing. If bringing your own tourer do you still get free entrance to the safari park? And any recommendations on best place to pitch as they allocate when booking. Tia

Beekse Bergen is an ACSI Card site at 13 euros between 30-03-2018 - 19-04-2018, 22-05-2018 - 06-07-2018 and 25-08-2018 - 12-10-2018. - so you could just squeeze in a week before the children go back to school in September. The 13 euros pays for the pitch, two adults, car and caravan, awning, and electricity, but you'd pay for any children at the normal site tariff.

We were there last year, and it was fab. So much so, we're looking at planning to go again as a a specific trip, as we didn't do everything in one day. And it wasn't due to horrendous queues; there was just so much to do!
Beekse Bergen has long been on our list of places to go, but have never got round to it. We stayed at Hengelhoef, which is about an hour away. Can also recommend Bosbad Hoeven, which might be a little closer
