Have you thought about Spain? I take it you holiday at Easter (when the schools have more than two weeks off) so Spain might be a good option. We used to go to Salou when my children were teenagers, and there is lots of caravan storage nearby, cheap car hire, and you can fly into Girona, Barcelona or Reus - which saves driving down. There are also lots of sites which are fully open at Easter, and plenty going on in the local areas - fiestas, processions, and more.
Caravan Inn is one that we considered years ago, and also Caravanning Emporda but there are plenty more.
Do you use an ACSI Card? It's accepted at lots of sites including Flower Camping Frejus (at 15 euros per night for pitch, two adults, car and caravan, awning and electricity - supplements for children on top - but also 7 nights for the price of 6, or 14 nights for the price of 11 - and children under 6 are free of charge. Flower Camping's prices seem reasonably anyway, but there are plenty of other sites where the discount is substantially more.
