Hi, I filled in the online booking request for for just a one night stopover a few weeks back and haven't received any reply. Has anyone had any experience of booking this site and if I phone them does anyone know if their english is ok - as I'm ashamed to say my french isn't too hot Thanks

Don't know the site but the english version of their website is very well written. I would expect that if you ring somebody would be able to sort you out. How long have you waited for a reply? It could take several days as it's low season.
Jaiash , it’s been about 3 weeks - I thought I’d wait till after Easter incase they weren’t open yet , but I’m now going to have to be brave and make that phone call
We stayed there a couple of years ago when we were turned away from a site in Argentan due to water logging. En route,I gave them a call and thankfully the receptionist spoke good English and confirmed that they could take us for the one night we required. She was very pleasant at the check in too. Bread ordered for the following morning.
It may well be a municipal site - it had that feel about it, though many are now changing into independently run sites.
Beware of high kerbs as you access the pitch. Looked as if several were seasonal pitches with the usual assortment of 'outbuildings'.
