I have seen these when searching. None look very appealing but can never tell until you get there. Was hoping someone knew a hidden gem close to the city. Will probably go with this one even though reviews are hit and miss.
WE stayed at Neue Donau years ago not long after it first opened. We did a tour of Austria in 2016 and used Donaupark Camping, at Klosterneuberg. The site is virtually next door to the railway station direct into Vienna.I have put a review of the site on here.

Thanks very much. Read your review. I think we will book Donaupark Camping, at Klosterneuberg. Looks the best option for a 2 day trip to Vienna.
Cheers
We stayed there a few years ago now and at the time the campsite itself had a bus service from the site into Vienna. Can't remember the cost, but it was quite cheap. It left at 9am, and picked you up again in Vienna where it dropped you off, at 5pm. An excellent service we thought.
We've also stayed at http://www.campingwien.at/en/camping-wien-sued/which was convenient for public transport. One day we got the bus to the railway station, then the train to Bratislava, an interesting visit.
